Alexandria Journal of Medicine

The "Alexandria Journal of Medicine" is the official peer-reviewed periodical owned and published by the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.The journal was inaugurated in 1964 and the first volume was issued at the beginning of 1965 .Its mission is giving a platform for researchers in the medical field to show the results of their work to colleagues in the medical profession. The published work covers the various clinical and basic medical disciplines, as well as interdisciplinary work. Publication is open to all original work done by authors, in the form of clinical trials, experimental research, case series, case reports and review articles, after evaluation through the standard editorial review process.

The journal is published quarterly. It is available to the members of staff of Alexandria Faculty of Medicine, as 'subscribers by default', and to readers who can access the journal in the correspondent libraries (including the EMRO library). Individual and institutional subscription is available upon request.

Through the support and clear vision of the Faculty's administration, the journal is now available to online readers, on the website of the Faculty of Medicine, Alexandria University.
