- The Department of Microbiology and Immunology participates in the second and third year graduate programs and the Master Degree & MD/PhD Programs at Faculty of Medicine, University of Alexandria. Our programs offer motivated students excellent preparation for careers in microbiological and medical science research.
- The academic programs include lectures, seminars, courses and laboratory research at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- The Department of Microbiology prides itself on the quality of its teaching. The department teaches students in all Health Science Colleges (Medicine, Dentistry, pharmacy and Nursing). It has its own graduate program and participates in teaching students at the graduate level and the integrated undergraduate programs. The department offers a weekly seminar series from September until May each academic year. Some of the speakers are invited from other departments. All are recognized experts in their fields.
