The department aspires to have a leading role at the level of the Arab Republic of Egypt in dealing with various issues using the latest technological means. It aims to have the ability to achieve the highest levels of competitiveness, excellence, and continuous development in analysis, diagnosis, scientific research, community service, and to be a center for fundamental knowledge in the field of forensic medicine.

The department teaches the Forensic Medicine and Clinical Toxicology course to undergraduate and postgraduate students with the aim of graduating a distinguished student professionally and ethically in dealing with patients and various legal cases

1-Graduate qualification through lectures and lessons for the process of diagnosing and treating acute poisoning cases either accidentally or criminally. 2-Prepare graduates familiar with legal issues and uncovering mysteries in criminal cases referred to forensic doctors by judicial authorities, and that the graduate is knowledgeable about laws related to medicine, as well as the ethics of the medical profession. 3-Prepare undergraduate students for practical life by teaching them the ethics and traditions of the medical profession
